Relatable
Alright, you will not be hearing about my Saturday this week because I'm feeling a bit down. There is a reason for it though, let me direct you to the fact that Men, like women, have monthly hormonal cycles. This has been known since the Seventeenth Century. Granted they aren't as annoying or bloody as a females cycle, they still cause a noticeable change in our behaviors. This Manly Menstruating or "Manstrating" lasts from one month to six weeks, quite a bit longer than a females period. They're are two points in the cycle for guys, a high point and a low point. During the low period of the cycle, men were reported to feel apathetic and indifferent. During the high period they reported more energy, a greater sense of well-being, and lower body weight. So I'm going to go out on a limb right now and say that I'm in the low right now... I've recently been running and biking so I'm releasing more endorphins into my body and boosting my mood but sometimes it's just not enough to make me feel brand new and with so much added stress in my life it's hard to stay happy. Feel free to try and cheer me up though.

It's An Okay Day
I woke up at my friends house, went home. Pretty normal day. After I got bored with practicing my guitar I went for a two mile jog around my neighborhood, that got my heart rate up. A weird thing is that after I run my bottom teeth usually hurt, I've looked online and I've asked my dentist why they hurt but they can't give me an answer because they don't know. It seems to be a common question on google though. After my run I spent the next few hours texting and listening to music. After that got boring or the people just stopped texting me back I started to watch the movie "No Strings Attached" (I will not be doing a movie review on this) it was a good movie but a little bit raunchy. Midnight came along and I couldn't sleep, I wasn't tired at all so I went on a midnight jog which was very fun because surprisingly it was very bright outside. I got back home and still couldn't fall asleep so I just turned off my TV and laid down with my eyes closed. Apparently I fell asleep sometime though because I woke up in the morning.
One More Day at School
This Saturday I spent my morning and about half of the afternoon at my school. I volunteered about a week in advance to help with the ISSMA band contest like last year. I left school at the regular time and came back about an hour later. (It was sort of counter-productive)

Grandmama's Kitchen
Even after missing school (Due to my stomach being puked up) I was forced to go visit my grandparents today. I have no problem with going there and I love my grandparents very much but I was sick and I know I wouldn't have done anything productive there. We went because we had to celebrate my brother's birthday with the family, we did, he pouted, wasn't fun. I was hoping that no one would know that I had the flu but the hope was blown away as soon as I walked into the door. My mom had posted to Facebook about how she had to clean up the bathroom because of my projectile vomitting. I didn't eat much at all and I only drank half a coke. It was nice to see my grandparents and my cousins but I wish I hadn't gone. When I told my grandma I didn't feel well enough to eat she had a disappointed look in her eyes. It really hurt me inside, so being the man that I am, I toughed it up and ate half a pickle before having to use the bathroom.

Oh Little Annie
Sorry for posting this a day late!
My day started out sort of bad actually. I had fallen asleep on the couch because I was so exhausted from Friday night. I woke up, my hair was greasy, I had a headache, I felt like crap and it hurt to swallow, I guess that's what happens when you have a cold. I walked up to my mom and my voice was so shot that I could barely make out the word "Ow." My mom told my dad to take me to urgent care so after I got myself ready and cleaned up a bit we left for the doctors office. We got there around 10 and the nurse called us back to the examination room. She asked some routine questions and sent for the doctor. About half and hour (I am drastically under-exaggerating) the doctor waled in checked my ears and took my pulse. He told me its one of three things, Strep throat (Which they can test for) Asthma, or a Sinus Infection. The doctor sent in the nurse to swab my throat to culture for Strep. Fifteen minutes later the test came back negative so he told me I have a sinus infection or Asthma. He gave me a prescription and we were on our way. I took my pills about an hour later and I started feeling better. Zoo time. Today was the group interview for the Junior Zoo keeper Program at the Zoo. I went and after we had eaten our lunch (about 2:00) I started feeling a little light headed. I went to the bathroom and... you guessed it started to vomit. I texted my dad in the bathroom and asked him to pick me up quickly. He arrived about 10 minutes later (The zoo is about 10 minutes away from our house) and I told the head zoo keeper that I had to rehearse for the play rather than tell her I got sick and embarrass myself. I got home and slept for about an hour after I had explained to my parent even though I got sick I had to be at the play, my other percussionist wasn't able to make it so I had to play both parts. I fell asleep and woke up about 5:00, call time was 5:30 so I left and rehearsed for the play, playing all three, Xylophone, Timpani, and Bells. It was great. The play went smoothly, the music sounded amazing, everything was on our side. After the play I fell asleep and had an... interesting dream... Overall it was a great day. I have to thank my doctor though because Ive been feeling so much better with the medication.
