Stuff About my Day
Lately my days have started around noon. Well, this is how mine started today. I woke up around noon and hung around the house literally trying to do anything to keep myself busy. After my dad had gotten home I asked for his opinion on an expensive decision and he gave his two cents. I ended up taking his advice and went for it. I drove around town, checked my work schedule, got some tea, drove around a bit more, and then went home for dinner. I ended my day watching the Doctor Who Christmas Special "The Snowmen" and my gosh, it was a suspenseful tale. Honestly guys, that's how my Saturday went, nothing amazing, nothing fantastic, nothing remotely "great".

Lots'O'Stuff
My day started off so amazing and it only got better. I woke up from a fantastic dream to the music of a band I've recently found, then I had a pretty delicious breakfast consisting of an omlet, a nutri-grain bar, and a glass of orange juice, and my last event of the morning was taking a shower. I washed off some markings I made from lsat night (Read my weekly story about it if you want to.) and just relaxed under the warm water. I got dressed for work around Noon and left at half-past, I had anticipated more traffic since it was a Saturday but no... I got there around 12:40, giving me twenty minutes to lounge around in the back. I had a great time at work, talked to some of my co-workers, told some jokes, shared some laughs, it was a great shift. I got off work at four (Which I had no problem with, I'm still new to working there so I don't know everything that goes on or how everything works yet) and headed over to the local mall. I walked around for a while and then drove home. I can't exactly remember what happened over the next three hours but at seven I went for a drive back to the mall, bought some sporting goods, ordered some things, and made so new gal pals. Even got thier numbers. On my way home my sister called so I pulled off to the side of the road and answered. She called to tell me that she had finished painting my shoes and that she would bring them over if she finished my friends' as well. I didn't want to take the chance of her not happening to finish my pal's shoes so I drove over to her apartment to pick my pair up. They're amazing, I love them so much. I drove back home and started to watch The Karate Kid, the one with Jayden Smith, so I think I will give one quote from the movie and then head off to sleep. "Life knocks us down but we can choose whether or not to get back up" and so with that, my readers, I bid you good night.

Unfulfilled Plans
Today my Uncle and cousin flew up from Texas just to see a college football game. We hung out for a few hours and unloaded some rounds on the range. It was pretty nice to have a guys morning shootin' some guns. I was supposed to go work at the college football game but I was stuck at home having to watch my brothers. That sort of bummed me out because the night before I had turned down one of my friends. She asked me if we could hang out at the zoo and I had to say no because I planned on working at the game. She then asked about next Friday and I had to decline her offer again, I have a football game to march at. After being shot down twice she asked about the next Saturday and just like the other two times I had to say no. I have a show to perform at on that Saturday. The day ends with me configuring some things on my network and fixing some problems, they're still there, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get around them. But anyway, I had a pretty nice, peaceful day, it wasn't interupted, I had time to myself, it was quiet, and I was alone. Pretty good day for me.

Moving Out
Saturday I pretty much slept. I helped my sister's boyfriend move into their new apartment, she was at work and couldn't be there to help. It's a really nice place and I wouldn't mind living there.

Uneventful
Today was sort of uneventful. I woke up around eight, took a shower around noon because I didn't want to wake anyone in my household, and mowed the lawn. Give me a second while I elaborate. I woke up around eight because I had an early night. There was a band event that was canceled the night previous so I actaully had a lot of time to sleep. I spent most of my day, and when I say most I mean about eighty percent, watching my two favorite YouTube comedians, Rhett and Link. I talked to some people that I haven't spoken to in a few weeks. Other than that, it was an uneventful day.

Active Day
My day started like every other Saturday, literally, I woke up and took a shower. I read some blogs from some people I follow and also some from people I don't. Eventually my depression caught up with me again and I used it to my advantage this time. I don't want to be depressed anymore. I want to be angry, I want to get mad. So I did. I took my frustration out with exercise. I started with a warm up slow lap on my bike, then I took it a little faster and ended up riding until I felt better... exactly 8.7 miles later. I took a few minutes to rest, or at least just go inside and wash my hands, and then took a cool down lap by jogging for two miles. Then I had a cool down lap for that by walking another five miles. I spent most of my day outside just moving. I went on a trip afterwards, three places. First on the list was Hobby Lobby, a pal of mine had mentioned to me that they have nice bandannas at cheap prices, he wasn't lying, I bought six bandannas for around seven or eight dollars. Next up was Gamestop, me and my eleven year old brother both play Pokemon and about two weeks ago learned about a Pokemon giveaway event at Gamestop, the new legendary Pokemon Keldeo, he and I both went to Gamestop and received our gifts while having an interesting conversation with the manager about Pokemon and eventually he convinced me to take an application for a job. I wasn't against it so I plan on filling that out tomorrow. Finally I went to Taco Bell for a good unhealthy dinner. To finish up the day I went on another mile walk and when I got home a neighbor of mine had decided to set off his own fireworks show. It was a nice day overall.

Cancellations
This past week I made plans to go out and do things with a few of my friends, I still owe one of my friends a "Gay friend date." Explanation: A few of the Junior Zoo Keepers made plans to go to the mall together. The guys wanted to hang out as well so they said they would go and one of the girls decided that if they did, they would have to act feminine and tell them if they look good or not. Every guy had a girl that would be their "Date" even I did. None of us have hung out yet so we all still have the "Gay friend Date" card. We were all planning on meeting up today but those plans got cancelled because of the oncoming storm known as Issac.I woke up around eight this morning but stayed in bed and fell back to sleep while listening to some Taylor Swift. Later I woke up and got my lazy butt out of bed and took a shower. Went downstairs had lunch, went on a walk, bike ride, and a run, did some things with my iPod's settings, and had some fast food for dinner. I also thought of a short story and typed it out in my Miscellaneous blog, feel free to check it out.

Sleep (Pt.2)
So I was talking all sad and depressed in my last Saturday Update Blog, "Tired". That was only half of my day and it was pretty bad, but this is the rest. After sitting in my room for a few minutes after my break up I got up and called a few of my friends. I got some opinions, I got some life lessons, it was all good. I'm not feeling down anymore. I spent an hour or so afterwards applying online at a few places, to name a few, Wal-mart, Subway, and Dairy Queen, all of which are in the vicinity of my abode. After applying for jobs I thought to myself, "You know what will cheer you up? Shopping." So I went to the mall. Honestly I love shopping, it makes me happy to see new things. I bought a new outfit for my Dress-Up Thursdays and I have to say, I look dapper. I'm feeling good, I'm looking good, and since I'm not sick anymore, I'm sounding good. What started as a crappy day has turned into a great one.
Sleep (Pt.1)
I woke up at eleven 'O' clock today, took a shower, then went back to sleep. I woke up around four 'O' clock and went through a break up. Yesterday and today have been generally bad days. I think I'm going to stop blogging after this. I have a few blogs schedule to be posted in the coming weeks, that's all you'll be seeing from me for awhile. Goodbye bloggers, friends, readers, it's been nice.

Not Very Exciting
I went to a football game and played in the Marching Band. Honestly I'm really not in the mood to type this out.

Time Enjoyed Wasting Is Time Well Spent
This morning I woke up around eleven 'O' clock, got up, took a shower, and then hung around the house. Around noon or so though, my very pretty girlfriend from my Weekly Story Blog (Week Twenty-Two) Picked me up and whisked me away to a magical place... Subway. Picked up some lunch for her brother, hung out at the school and left... But Wait! We went back to her house and watched a few episodes of Money From Strangers. It's a pretty funny show if you've never seen it. An hour later I stayed and enjoyed her company while she painted her nails with amazing designs and listened to some great music. When three 'O' clock came around I had to start my last day of work at the zoo. It started pretty horrible, I checked who I was with and where I was supposed to be when I got there. Butterfly Garden with my least favorite Zookeeper. Instead I just hung around the family farm and had a good time. My beautiful girlfriend actually showed up at the zoo for me today though. I showed her some of our farm animals and convinced her to touch a few of them. She was even chewed on by one of my baby goats. Nothing much happened after she visited me though so that's all for the zoo. I got home took a shower and then got myself all pretty for a date. We went to see The Dark Knight Rises, good movie, go check out my Movie Review Blog about it. After a long tiring day, I got home, said goodbye to my Boo Bear, and updated a few of my blogs. Amazing day all in all.

Party At The Zoo
This Saturday was a fun one. I woke up at almost 5 'O' clock in the morning to drive to the zoo just so I could get in a van and drive four more hours to Chicago. The Zoo that I work at has a trip to another zoo of a higher caliber every year. This year we visited the Brookfield Zoo, it was amazing, I saw one of my old zoo keeper friends, Jill, and she came with us on our trip. I got to see some of the wallabies we sent to the zoo and just learned a lot in general, it was a great day with the exception of a couple awkward moments with the freak I know...
The night was even better. We all stayed in a pretty decent hotel, it had a pool, it had three floors, the problem was, it was infested with annoying teenagers, I'm not saying all teenagers are annoying, just the few at the hotel. I went swimming which turned out to be a bad idea, I was shirtless of course but that freak I meantioned earlier kept looking over at me, whether I was around her or all the way across the pool deck. It got a little weird... After the swimming I went up to my room and pretty much stayed up as late as we could playing card games while poking fun at some of the girls who came on the trip, they were just harmless jokes though so don't worry. I ended the night listening to We The Kings on a pull-out couch. Overall it was a pretty awesome day.

Just Like the Others
My day didn't start out exactly "normal". I was awake pretty early this morning/late last night, like up 'til three 'O' clock. My friend had told me a pretty scary story, Jeff the Killer, I suggest not looking it up because it will keep you up at night, it kept me from falling asleep at my normal time for a few days and it kept me up until the aforementioned time today. I was up texting a few people though and eventually I got tired like an other human being and decided I should probably go to sleep. I woke up four hours later at seven and took a shower then I hung around on the computer for a bit before I left for work. Honestly working at the zoo is great and I love it but i've fallen into a rut and it's just getting repetitive. Other than the morning my day was pretty uneventful.

What A Fun Zoo Run Run
I woke up at five 'O' Clock this saturday morning, not because I'm crazy but because I was going to work. I left the house to volunteer for an event the zoo was hosting, the annual Zoo Run Run. It was fun, I saw some friends, I saw some strangers, actually there were a lot of strangers, and I met some new people. The run is a 5k race around the park. There is no prize for winning, it's just fun. I stood at the end of the finish line handing out waters to the runners who needed them and I guarantee you that if you did not take a water, you were going to hurl. After the race I went home and slept before I had to go back to work at the zoo. The rest of the day was pretty uneventful.

Afterwork Party
Again, I didn't start my day until about noon. When I woke up I just layed in my bed for a few hours and when I decided I was awake I took a shower. I hung around my house for an hour or two and left for work. I had a great time at the zoo although I didn't have much to do because everything was already done. I exercised a few animals, had an animal encounter, witnessed a missing child fiasco... the normal. After work though, I headed to my friend's party, sort of. I went to my sister's place of employment and dropped off a tripod for her and then I went home to change out of my work clothes, then, after getting cleaned up and smelling nice, I left for the party. There was cake, a pool, friends, music... It was the general party but it was awesome. I even met a pretty awesome girl there. My friend says she sensed a spark but I don't know.

Reoccurrence
It's Sunday and not Saturday, sue me. I've started talking with more people recently, old friends, new friends, those I have no interest for, those whom I'd like to talk to longer. I had a grudge about three weeks ago and I just decided to let it go. All my anger, all of my hate, gone, it was absolved, on the other hand, my weak stomache and distaste for stress came back.

Return to The Zoo
I was up until three in the morning watching Doctor Who. I'm not usually one to go with the crowd but I had nothing to do the night before Saturday so I decided to give it a try on Netflix. It's a great series by the way, go watch it, it's amazing. Back to the blog. My grandparents came for a visit in the morning, they got here around ten o'clock and left around noon. Thanks to my late night Doctor Who marathon, I didn't wake up until twelve thirty. About two hours later I left to go back to work... Where, you might ask? At the zoo of course. It was my second shift and I had such a fun time there, I was the junior zoo keeper to one of the interns from last year that came back as a full zoo keeper this year. Great fun, oh how I do love it. I can't say much more about what I did at the zoo but trust me it was great. After my shift was over I left and the one thing I regret is not telling my zoo keeper how many barrels of amusement I had that day. Dinner at TGIFridays came afterwards and while the food took a while to get to us, It tasted fantastic. Left for home and picked up where I left off on Doctor Who.

Past Two Weeks
Well... Honestly I can't remember how my last two Saturdays have gone by, I'm really sorry readers! I will be updating this blog on a regular basis though. I guess the summer has gotten to me.

Late Day
I was late for everything today. I woke up at eight thirty. I had a Zookeepers meeting at nine. I hopped in the shower for five minutes then drove to the zoo as fast as I could. After the meeting (Which was weird because this girl I know (that has a boyfriend) was hitting on me) I was late to leaving my house to get to my grandma's. I was supposed to leave at two but left at two thirty because I had to get the smell of Ferret, and Opossum off of me. I had a great birthday party at my grandma's house, I received a total of $150 from everyone. Awesome day. I got home and fell asleep.

I'm sick
I've actually been sick for the past week. Yesterday I went to the Rise Against, A Day to Remember concert in Indianapolis, awesome concert by the way, and didn't get home until one O'clock. I had to get up at nine O'clock this morning so that wasn't very fun. Zoo training sessions are boring but it's all worth it to work with the animals. After the session I went home and fell asleep. That's pretty much my Saturday

Returners Of The Zoo
My day started at 9:00am. I woke up at 8, took a shower and then left for the Zoo! I got to go back. I'm part of the Junior Zoo Keeper program which means I volunteer at the zoo and work with the Zoo Keepers there, it's loads of fun. Today marked the day of our first training session! We learned about the Zoo (a lot of things I already knew) and then we had a (sort of) hands on experience! It was great, seeing the new faces, catching up with the old faces. I loved it and I can't wait to start work in June!

Chemistry Made Me Do It!
Started my day at the Bug Bowl! Me and my pal went to Purdue's campus to get some extra credit for Chemistry, a whole twenty points!(That's a lot.) We visited some tents, went on a tour, got soaked because of the rain, and had a good time. we finished our Extra Credit worksheets and left. I sort of just sat in the house after that... The Legend of Korra premier was Saturday though... AWESOME.

Easter With The Family
This Saturday I went to my grandparent's house to celebrate Easter. The first half of the day was pretty much just me walking around the farm in a big circle singing my heart out (I sing when no one is around to hear me.). About Six O'clock was when the fun started. All the cousins get to hide eggs for the annual easter egg hunt. Using my circular path that I walked earlier, I hid all 10 eggs I was given. They weren't in hard hiding spots either, all of them were placed in plain sight except for one that was thrown into a bush. It turned out that I was hiding my cousin Derek's eggs and he found all but one of them fairly quickly. He couldn't find that egg hidden in a bush. All eggs were eventually found and I would say the day turned out pretty well.

Relatable
Alright, you will not be hearing about my Saturday this week because I'm feeling a bit down. There is a reason for it though, let me direct you to the fact that Men, like women, have monthly hormonal cycles. This has been known since the Seventeenth Century. Granted they aren't as annoying or bloody as a females cycle, they still cause a noticeable change in our behaviors. This Manly Menstruating or "Manstrating" lasts from one month to six weeks, quite a bit longer than a females period. They're are two points in the cycle for guys, a high point and a low point. During the low period of the cycle, men were reported to feel apathetic and indifferent. During the high period they reported more energy, a greater sense of well-being, and lower body weight. So I'm going to go out on a limb right now and say that I'm in the low right now... I've recently been running and biking so I'm releasing more endorphins into my body and boosting my mood but sometimes it's just not enough to make me feel brand new and with so much added stress in my life it's hard to stay happy. Feel free to try and cheer me up though.

It's An Okay Day
I woke up at my friends house, went home. Pretty normal day. After I got bored with practicing my guitar I went for a two mile jog around my neighborhood, that got my heart rate up. A weird thing is that after I run my bottom teeth usually hurt, I've looked online and I've asked my dentist why they hurt but they can't give me an answer because they don't know. It seems to be a common question on google though. After my run I spent the next few hours texting and listening to music. After that got boring or the people just stopped texting me back I started to watch the movie "No Strings Attached" (I will not be doing a movie review on this) it was a good movie but a little bit raunchy. Midnight came along and I couldn't sleep, I wasn't tired at all so I went on a midnight jog which was very fun because surprisingly it was very bright outside. I got back home and still couldn't fall asleep so I just turned off my TV and laid down with my eyes closed. Apparently I fell asleep sometime though because I woke up in the morning.
One More Day at School
This Saturday I spent my morning and about half of the afternoon at my school. I volunteered about a week in advance to help with the ISSMA band contest like last year. I left school at the regular time and came back about an hour later. (It was sort of counter-productive)

Grandmama's Kitchen
Even after missing school (Due to my stomach being puked up) I was forced to go visit my grandparents today. I have no problem with going there and I love my grandparents very much but I was sick and I know I wouldn't have done anything productive there. We went because we had to celebrate my brother's birthday with the family, we did, he pouted, wasn't fun. I was hoping that no one would know that I had the flu but the hope was blown away as soon as I walked into the door. My mom had posted to Facebook about how she had to clean up the bathroom because of my projectile vomitting. I didn't eat much at all and I only drank half a coke. It was nice to see my grandparents and my cousins but I wish I hadn't gone. When I told my grandma I didn't feel well enough to eat she had a disappointed look in her eyes. It really hurt me inside, so being the man that I am, I toughed it up and ate half a pickle before having to use the bathroom.

Oh Little Annie
Sorry for posting this a day late!
My day started out sort of bad actually. I had fallen asleep on the couch because I was so exhausted from Friday night. I woke up, my hair was greasy, I had a headache, I felt like crap and it hurt to swallow, I guess that's what happens when you have a cold. I walked up to my mom and my voice was so shot that I could barely make out the word "Ow." My mom told my dad to take me to urgent care so after I got myself ready and cleaned up a bit we left for the doctors office. We got there around 10 and the nurse called us back to the examination room. She asked some routine questions and sent for the doctor. About half and hour (I am drastically under-exaggerating) the doctor waled in checked my ears and took my pulse. He told me its one of three things, Strep throat (Which they can test for) Asthma, or a Sinus Infection. The doctor sent in the nurse to swab my throat to culture for Strep. Fifteen minutes later the test came back negative so he told me I have a sinus infection or Asthma. He gave me a prescription and we were on our way. I took my pills about an hour later and I started feeling better. Zoo time. Today was the group interview for the Junior Zoo keeper Program at the Zoo. I went and after we had eaten our lunch (about 2:00) I started feeling a little light headed. I went to the bathroom and... you guessed it started to vomit. I texted my dad in the bathroom and asked him to pick me up quickly. He arrived about 10 minutes later (The zoo is about 10 minutes away from our house) and I told the head zoo keeper that I had to rehearse for the play rather than tell her I got sick and embarrass myself. I got home and slept for about an hour after I had explained to my parent even though I got sick I had to be at the play, my other percussionist wasn't able to make it so I had to play both parts. I fell asleep and woke up about 5:00, call time was 5:30 so I left and rehearsed for the play, playing all three, Xylophone, Timpani, and Bells. It was great. The play went smoothly, the music sounded amazing, everything was on our side. After the play I fell asleep and had an... interesting dream... Overall it was a great day. I have to thank my doctor though because Ive been feeling so much better with the medication.

Masquerade at McCutcheon
My day started like every other... Sort of. The night before We got dominated in basketball. 32 to 75, really Mavs, I know we can do better. Anyway I was walking to the Gym from the Band Room to help my fellow percussionists pack up the Drum sets and the platforms when I saw my Ex's mother walking with my ex's friend (I do not like her friend, she's a bad person). I was stopped by her and we had a conversation, in the middle of the conversation I saw my ex and her friend walk out past the corner, she took one look at me and did a 180. I thought it was comical because I've been doing that ever since she started hating me. Well to my ex I have to say I wish you well and I hope that if you ever get a boyfriend that you obviously don't deserve you don't ruin his perception of love. Forget you. Back to Saturday, I woke up, sat on the couch, watched some television, texted a few people, got dressed, etc... It was a pretty normal day until 8:00 rolled around, I was dressed up for a special occasion, what occasion was that? A Masquerade! Our school was hosting a Masquerade Ball which inevitably turn into a grind-fest... gross, I was asked to dance with a few people and I turned them down, I don't have a girlfriend and there was nothing wrong with the people, it was just that I feel like I'm betraying myself if I dance with someone. The dance was fun, Semi-formal attire, great friends, okay music... I guess, In general it was really fun and I'm glad I went. Someone in our group actually ripped his pants while he was dancing, Priceless. Most of the people wore masks and they were really neat and creative but by the end of the dance everyone had taken off the masks and just started being themselves. I have to say though that the slow songs left me feeling empty inside, rather than dancing with a girl or a girlfriend, I danced with my phone while I was texting a friend from out of town. All in all, for only being the second dance I've been to in my two years of being here I had fun and enjoyed it. Can't wait to see what Prom's like next year.

Saturday Sectionals
Girl's are going to sectionals! Pep Band's coming too! Woooooo Hoooooo!
Alright so we lost, not a big deal. it was a good game, score was 37-37 so we went into overtime. It started to go downhill after we scored first in overtime. We ended up losing, 55-49 or something... After the game I just wanted to go home but everyone in Pep Band wanted to go bowling so... we took a majority vote... guess who lost? We went bowling which was fun, I sang with Lucy to a few great songs and managed to score a 62 and 69 on my first two games. We left the bowling ally after our group had made a toast to being awesome (Thanks Tim). Got on the bus to go home and that was okay. Got home checked Facebook and suddenly... BlogSpot!
